What will the translation
of the birth certificate (or other document type) look like?
Every page of
text translated has a corresponding translation page. The translation
page consists of a legal sized (8 1/2" x 14") sheet which
also serves as the Accurate Translator's letterhead. Directly below
the letterhead is located the translated text of the legal document
laid out in the same format and style as the original. The bottom area
of every translation sheet (consisting of the remaining 2 1/2"
of the page) is located a reserved section for certification and notarization.
In this section, the agency translator attests to being competent to
translate from the foreign language into English and has certified the
translation to be complete and accurate as required by U.S.C.I.S. and
other government agencies. The certification portion is then signed,
notarized, and sealed with the embossed, company seal of the Accurate
Translator, LLC.
The result of
each translation is an easily comprehensible stunning representation
of the original document made to resemble the government-issued original.
This is a full translation in every sense of the word; not a certificate
"summary" or "extract" but rather a complete translation
of the foreign language public document.

Is this considered a Certified
Translation?
YES.
A certified translation consist of a document signed by an officer of
the translation agency and notarized by a Notary Public, attesting that
the translation company believes the translation to be truthful, accurate
and complete. This part of the document is called the "Translation
Certification".
Be careful of other
translation agencies charging as much as $75 to make the documents "certified"
IN ADDITION to the translation fees !!
All documents are notarized
translations, or in other words, perfectly legal translations for the
U.S. government and in most instances, foreign governments as well providing
the original document carries an Apostille certificate (more information
on Apostilles in the section below).
All
documents issued by The Accurate Translator, LLC are 100% GUARANTEED

to happen, all measures would be taken to find a solution or refund

Can you translate documents
for use outside of the United States?
Yes.
If you plan to be married in Mexico or need to present public legal
documents to a foreign government agency for any reason, we are happy
to assist with any special request. Nevertheless, the requirements for
a translation's acceptance in another country may differ than those
conditions established in the U.S. It is ultimately your responsibility
to confirm the exact requirements that foreign country agency will need
to have presented in order for the translation to be accepted. Contact
the consulates or embassies of the particular country for assistance.
About Apostilled
documents (a.k.a. Apostille Certificates)
In October of 1961, the Hague
Convention was convened by a number of countries. One of the purposes
of the meeting was to establish a way for certain public legal documents
issued by one foreign government to be accepted as "legalized"
or "authentic" by another government. To do this, the signing
countries agreed to issue what now is called an "Apostille"
or "Apostille certificate" to accompany the certified or original
copy of the public legal document. Most often, presenting the original
or certified copy of the public legal document, its Apostille Certificate,
plus a notarized translation is enough; nonetheless, it is up to the
client to verify this with one or more reliable sources in the government
of the foreign nation. Sometimes it may be necessary to have the Apostille
document translated.
Apostille certificates are usually
only required for the public document itself, not the translation. Apostille
certificates can be easily obtained though the Secretary of State's
office of the state that issued the document originally.

are not limited to: company bylaws, powers of attorney, trademarks,
diplomas - transcripts, distributorship agreements, articles of incorporation,
good standing certificates, home studies, letters of reference, etc.

How long does will it take
to have my document translated?
Generally, it may take from 2
- 5 business days to complete your translation (to have it ready to
be mailed or for pick-up) after payment is received. If you need it
within a specific time frame, please let us know and we will advise
you if we can adhere to that schedule. Rush services are also available
at an extra cost (see the price list below).

what now? Do you need the original document.
No.
The original document is not required to begin translation. A fax or
scanned e-mail copy is preferred. The original or certified copy of
the source document must accompany the translation when it arrives to
you.
In order to begin, simply scan
a copy of the document and e-mail
it to us or send it by fax. If you wish to send it by fax, please fax
it to our "fax to e-mail" system at 1-206-337-2559. Include
in your e-mail or fax cover page the following information: e-mail address,
phone number, address, date by which you wish to have the completed
document in hand, and street address to where to mail the finished copy.
After sending us this information, within 24 hours you will have an
e-mail confirmation and a separate e-mail with a link to your invoice
of your purchase and directions on how to make payment.
I studied outside the U.S.
What is the process for having my education credentials evaluated?
Unlike many other countries, the
U.S. has a very decentralized system of education. Transcripts,
degrees, diplomas, and credit recognition are not performed or regulated
by the federal government. Within the U.S., no government agency monitors
the evaluation of educational credentials by those educated outside
the country.
Depending on which credentials
are being transferred will greatly influence what is actually required.
This is especially true for anyone applying for credential and credit
transfers into one of the over 50 professional fields that are licensed
in all of the 50 states and territories (doctors, lawyers, accountants,
teachers, etc.). Not all of these professions have specialized credential
evaluation services, nor do all of them have procedures for recognizing
non-U.S. qualifications, however many do and the boards monitoring those
fields may have established standards to follow. Since this is a confusing
tedious process whose rules seem to change depending on who is receiving
